Description
The Susan Harwood Training Grant Program is a funding opportunity for eligible nonprofit organizations to develop and deliver training on occupational safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program aims to target workers and employers in small businesses who are impacted by high-hazard industries, high fatality rates, or other factors. The grant will support the delivery of Targeted Topic Training, which must address one of the OSHA-specified training topics. The training must reach workers and employers from multiple small businesses, and the focus is on recognizing, avoiding, and preventing occupational safety and health hazards.
• The program has a 12-month performance period, beginning no later than September 30, 2021, and ending on September 30, 2022.
• The maximum award for a Targeted Topic Training grant is $160,000.
