Notice of Intent-Canon CT Scanner Repairs

The Indian Health Service (IHS) intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract for the urgent repair of a Canon Medical 32-slice CT Scanner located at the Rosebud IHS Hospital in Rosebud, South Dakota. The purpose of this requirement is to restore the CT system to full operational status for clinical use. The contractor shall provide diagnostic, repair, and calibration services for the CT scanner. • The contractor shall perform on-site diagnostic evaluation and troubleshooting • The contractor shall identify the root cause of the system malfunction • The contractor shall perform necessary repairs and adjustments • The contractor shall conduct system calibration and functional testing • The contractor shall verify proper functionality of ROI/SureStart features • The contractor shall ensure the system is safe and ready for clinical use
