National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) Southern Regional Weather Records Center (SRWRC)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide services for the Southern Regional Weather Records Center (SRWRC). The SRWRC will provide products and services to address regional weather records needs and issues in the context of NOAA's broader environmental information responsibilities. The contractor will be responsible for transforming NOAA's satellite, in situ, radar, and paleoclimate data and products into regionally-tailored products and services that meet the needs of users and partners and promote resilience and prosperity. The contract will be for a period of five years, with a base ordering period of five years and the possibility of option periods. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Regional engagement and user needs identification • Needs prioritization and product and tool provision • Transitioning appropriate tools, products, and services to sustained NOAA operational states • Services to sustain activities supporting the mission of the provision of products and services The contractor will be required to provide a detailed proposal outlining their technical approach, management plan, and pricing. The proposal will be evaluated based on factors such as experience, technical approach, key personnel, past performance, and price.
