Easement Clearing Services 2026

The City of Raleigh is seeking multiple vendors to contract with for brush cutting and mowing of vegetation, with options to perform tree trimming, cutting, and removal. The contract will be for the City's Public Utilities Department, and the selected contractors will be supplied with certain easement assets to mow or clear via individual work orders. The contractors will be required to mobilize to an assigned work order within 10 business days. The pricing should include unit prices set by the contractor for vegetative maintenance operations. • The contract is intended to continuously assign projects to the company, with no defined end date. • The City maintains approximately 1,346 miles of SS easement and 305 miles of potable water easement. • The requirement/needs to mow or clear each easement asset is dependent on vegetative growth. • Annual funding will be based on Departmental approval each fiscal year, taking into account any budgetary constraints.
