Sewer MA Lining Contract 1

The City of Seattle is seeking bids for the SEWER MA LINING CONTRACT 1 project, which involves the rehabilitation of approximately 64,000 lineal feet of existing sanitary sewer, combined sewer, and storm pipes at various locations in Seattle using Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) installation methods. The project includes traffic control, bypass pumping, cleaning and pre-construction closed circuit television (CCTV) video inspection of sewer pipe, removal of debris, removal of intruding lateral piping and other obstructions, installing pre-liners, installing and molding CIPP liners to host pipes, reinstatement of laterals, and post-construction CCTV inspection. The project is subject to the City of Seattle's Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire. • The project consists of 263 pipe segments for sewer mainline CIPP repairs at various locations within the City of Seattle. • The Engineer's Estimate for the project is $10,130,000.00. • The project is a Covered Project subject to the City of Seattle's Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire. • The City of Seattle is committed to racial and economic equity through contracting and provides programs to support minority and women-owned businesses. • Bidders must complete and submit the Bid Form through OpenGov as specified in the Bid Documents. • The City of Seattle reserves the right to require a completed Social Equity Plan as a condition for contract execution if no WMBE guarantees are provided.
