Description
The project involves repaving Parking Lot G at the Montrose VAMC. The work includes demolishing the existing parking lot, removing existing concrete sidewalks and ADA ramps, and installing new light poles, light fixtures, and electrical boxes. The project also involves stormwater management systems, including storm pipes, doghouse manhole, pre-treatment gravel diaphragm, and connection to the existing storm sewer system.
• The contractor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction management, including construction work and subcontractor management.
• The contractor must comply with the VA security management program and obtain permission from the VA police.
• The contractor must provide a detailed phasing plan, including a traffic control plan, to minimize disruptions to the VA Medical Center operations.
• The contractor must protect existing improvements and utilities at or near the work site and repair any damage caused by the contractor's workers.
