Providing Increased Capacity and Enhanced Capabilities to Move and Store Construction Aggregate

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is requesting applications for projects that provide increased capacity and enhanced capabilities to move and store construction aggregate. Eligible applicants are limited to seaports and rail lines/rail facilities. The Department may make up to $20 million available each year to fund these projects. The application deadline is August 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. • The Department will enter into a reimbursement-based Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) with one or more selected applicants. • The grantee must adhere to the grant requirements, specifications, and terms and conditions provided in the PTGA. • The Department reserves the right to modify the timeline, cancel or withdraw this RFA, make no award, and/or reject all applications. • The Department will notify applicants of the Department’s Intended Decision via delivery of hard copy to the physical address provided by each applicant.
