The City of Detroit is seeking a pre-qualified supplier for planned residential demolition work at 12173 Whithorn. The successful vendor must meet the minimum qualifications, including being pre-qualified for planned residential and/or emergency residential demolition work. The vendor will be subject to the terms, conditions, and requirements of their pre-qualification and the "CDD_Abatement and Demolition_Contractor Discipline Policy_5.12.2025". The project involves the demolition of a single-unit residential structure built in 1925, with a floor area of 1,092 square feet and a parcel square footage of 3,311 square feet.
• The vendor must verify the property information provided, including the address, parcel ID, zip code, and year built.
• The vendor must review and understand the available information and documentation associated with the site prior to submitting a proposal or quote.
• The vendor must comply with the "Scope of Services for the Demolition of Blighted Residential Structures" dated on or after May 26th, 2025.
• The vendor must commence demolition within the timeframe stipulated in the applicable Scope of Services.
