Description
The Town of Milton is seeking a contractor to pave a new salt storage shed. The project includes preparing surfaces for paving, installing bituminous concrete base and top courses, and providing smooth transitions between new and existing pavement surfaces. The contractor must complete all work between August 17, 2026, and August 31, 2026.
• Preparation of surfaces as necessary for paving operations
• Installation of approximately 7,980 square feet of 2-1/2” Type II bituminous concrete base course
• Installation of approximately 14,300 square feet of 1-1/2” Type III bituminous concrete top course
• Provide smooth transitions between new and existing pavement surfaces
• Compaction of all materials in accordance with applicable standards and specifications
• Cleanup and removal of excess materials and debris upon completion of work
