Description
The Lexington VA Health Care System is soliciting for a contract to provide the latest version of the Rauland Responder Enterprise software, implementation services to connect the Responder Enterprise software to the existing Responder 5 hardware, and integration services to integrate the Responder Enterprise software with the existing Vocera Engage middleware. The contractor will provide project management, deployment, integration, and quality assurance services. The system will be utilized throughout 2 campuses, and the contractor will offer support and maintenance services during business hours and on a 24/7 basis for severe malfunctions.
Some key features of the required system include:
• High availability configuration
• Load balancing configuration
• Integration with the existing VoIP communication system
• Staff terminal messaging/alerting
• Nurse call escalations
• System performance requirements, including minimal downtime and scheduled maintenance
• Security requirements, including compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and NIST standards.
