Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to purchase Industrial Scientific Ventis MX5 Pro multi-gas detection equipment, associated docking stations, and all related accessories required for operational readiness. The equipment will be used by the Veterans Affairs Safety Department and Fire Department to support emergency response, fire suppression, hazardous atmosphere monitoring, confined space entry, and occupational safety operations at VA facilities. The scope of work includes the purchase of new, unused, commercially available equipment manufactured in accordance with current Industrial Scientific specifications. The contractor shall deliver the items to the VA Perry Point Safety and Occupational Health office and will distribute the meters to the different medical centers and the Perry Point Fire Department. The contract also includes comprehensive online training to designated staff on the usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the devices.
