Best Kit Rebid

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is seeking bids for the supply of 15,000 BEST Kits per year for a period of 3 years. The kits consist of various components, including evidence envelopes, SLED evidence bags, certification of custody forms, drug analysis forms, and sticker labels. The successful bidder must be able to provide a prototype kit and ship the kits within 4 weeks of receipt of a written order. The bidder must also meet the specified requirements for each component of the kit. • The kits must include 1 evidence envelope, 1 SLED evidence bag, 1 certification of custody form, 1 drug analysis form, and 1 sticker label per kit. • The evidence envelopes must be 10" x 12" in size, made of kraft brown material, and have a metal clasp on the back. • The SLED evidence bags must be 9 x 11 ½ in size, made of tamper-indicative plastic, and have a gum seal at the top. • The certification of custody forms must be 8 ½" x 11" in size and made of white stock. • The drug analysis forms must be 8 ½" x 11" in size, made of 3-ply NCR material, and have a manila tag. • The sticker labels must be sequentially numbered to match the SLED evidence bags.
