Description
The Weldon City Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to provide flooring replacement services at the Weldon Central Services building. The project involves removing and disposing of existing flooring materials, inspecting and preparing the subfloor, and installing new flooring. The contractor must have at least three years of commercial or institutional flooring experience and provide proof of insurance and licensing. The project requires daily cleanup and final site restoration, and the contractor must coordinate with school administration to minimize disruption.
• The project includes approximately 8500 square feet of hallways, offices, and lobby areas.
• The existing flooring type is carpet and tile, and the new flooring type will be carpet tile and VCT.
• The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and meet safety and environmental standards.
• The school/district reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
