Description
The City of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of automatic tire chains for various vehicle types, including ambulances and fire rescue trucks. The bid price must include the equipment price and installation fees, and pricing should remain firm for a 12-month period. The successful bidder will be required to provide a warranty for the equipment and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The bid includes the purchase and installation of automatic tire chains for 33 vehicles, including 28 Ford E450 ambulances, 2 Chevrolet G4500 ambulances, 2 Ram 5500 fire rescue trucks, and 1 Ford F550 fire rescue truck.
• The vendor will be responsible for picking up and delivering the vehicles to their facility for installation.
• The vendor must complete installation of all units within the 12-month period after award.
• The County reserves the right to add or change the vehicle types needing automatic tire chains and to add or subtract the quantity of vehicles needing automatic tire chains.
