Intent to Modify Contract N0002426C4434 - Main Propulsion Boilers

The United States Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify an existing contract to incorporate planning, preparation, and execution of steam boiler maintenance, alteration, and repairs for several naval ships. The scope of work includes labor, supervision, equipment, facilities, materials, and travel necessary to prepare for and accomplish these efforts. The contract modification will add new contract line item numbers (CLINs) for continuous and emergent repair for four additional ships. • The contract modification is for a three-year period of performance through 17 February 2029. • The scope of work includes inspections, assessments, engineering and design support, execution planning and preparation, material procurement, maintenance, alteration, and repair of boiler systems. • The contract modification aligns with the current contract line item number (CLIN) structure. • The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but all responsible sources may submit an exception to the intent to purchase on a sole basis.
