Description
The North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) seeks a qualified contractor to provide high‑pressure boiler welding services on a time‑and‑materials basis. The work includes repair, replacement, and fabrication of boiler tubes, pressure vessels, and related components, performed under ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and other applicable standards. The contract will be firm‑fixed‑price for labor rates with a 10 % cap on material markup, and may extend up to five years with renewal options. The contractor must maintain required certifications, insurance, background checks, and be able to respond quickly to NDSCS scheduling needs.
• Primary services: Millwright and R‑Stamp welding, boiler tube repairs, pressure‑vessel welding, and related fabrication.
• Compensation: Hourly labor rates (incl. travel, per‑diem, tools) plus up to 10 % material markup; payments within 30 days of approved invoice.
• Contract terms: Firm‑fixed‑price labor rates, possible five‑year term with up to four 12‑month extensions, 30‑day termination notice, and strict insurance/ safety compliance requirements.
