Budget estimate

$300,000 – $360,000

The FOA specifies a total estimated funding ceiling of $360,000 for a single award covering a two‑year performance period. Assuming the award is made at the ceiling, the partner would receive roughly $180,000 per year. If the award is made at the floor ($1) it would be negligible, but typical practice is to fund near the ceiling for a full‑scope project. Therefore a realistic budget range is approximately $300,000–$360,000 over the contract term, depending on the final negotiated budget and any in‑kind contributions. Factors influencing the final amount include the applicant’s cost‑share, indirect cost rate (17.5 % IDC), and any supplemental funding for travel or equipment.
