Description
The City of Quincy is soliciting bids for the procurement and installation of a replacement trash grate for Furnace Brook near 484 Quarry Street in Quincy, MA. The project involves the removal of an existing damaged trash grate, possible granite wall repair and concrete slab work, demolition and disposal of the old grate, furnishing and installation of a corrosion-resistant replacement grate, and restoration of the surrounding area. All work must comply with applicable safety and environmental standards.
• The project requires compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, and all Federal, State, and City of Quincy regulations.
• The bidding and award of this Contract shall be in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• A bid security in the amount of 5% of the total value of the bid is required.
