The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for the removal, transport, and disposal of fill material per planned residential properties. The work includes excavation, load out, backfill, grade, and site finalization. Vendors must submit a price sheet, professional rate schedule, and signature page with their quote. The city reserves the right to award each group to a different vendor, all groups to one vendor, or any combination of groups to a particular vendor. • The work is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days of a Notice to Proceed. • Vendors must be prequalified by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement. • The city will evaluate quotes based on the lowest, responsive, and responsible bid price with consideration to local preferences. • Vendors must provide a detailed explanation of item costs that appear significantly higher or lower than the market average. • The city reserves the right to reject any quote with an item cost schedule deemed unreasonable or inconsistent with the program's goals and objectives.
