Description
The City of Austin is seeking bids for the provision of mattresses and box spring sets and bed frames for the Austin Fire Department and Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services Department. The contract will be for an initial term of 24 months, with the option to extend for up to three additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be required to provide new, unused, and standard products that meet the city's specifications. The city reserves the right to add or remove additional departments or delivery locations as needed.
• The contractor must have a minimum of three years of continuous experience in selling these products to an agency similar in size and scope to the city.
• The contractor must be an authorized dealer/reseller of the products offered.
• The mattresses and box spring sets must be new, unused, and a currently standard product.
• The bed frames must be universal, adjustable, and made of metal.
• The contractor must provide delivery within 15 calendar days after placing the order.
• The contractor must coordinate delivery with the recipient to ensure proper unloading arrangements.
