Description
The Defense Logistics Agency-Troop Support (DLA-Troop Support) is seeking a Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) to support military and other federally funded customers in Puerto Rico. The contractor will be responsible for supplying and delivering semi-perishable and perishable food items, including chilled products, frozen foods, dairy and ice cream products, fresh fruits, and beverages. The contract will be for a term of 12 months, with a guaranteed minimum of $3,200,000 and an estimated maximum value of $48,000,000. The contractor must be capable of delivering products to various customer locations in Puerto Rico, including military dining facilities, Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs, and other federally funded customers.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Supplying and delivering a wide range of food items to customers in Puerto Rico
• Maintaining a minimum of 60 days of stock on hand to meet customer demands
• Providing electronic submission of orders and invoices
• Delivering products to customer locations within the required delivery date and time frame
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Berry Amendment and Buy American Act
• Participating in the Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) for ordering and receipting
• Submitting pricing for all catalog items in the required format
