RFI: National Aviation Maintenance and Logistics Support

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking information from interested parties regarding the provision of national aviation maintenance and logistics support services. The services will include maintenance and repair of aircraft, as well as logistics and supply chain support. The CBP is considering a two-contract approach, with one contract for maintenance and logistics support, and another contract for logistics and supply chain support. The contracts are expected to be for a period of 5 years, with options for additional years. The CBP is seeking feedback from industry on the proposed contract structure and contract type(s). Some key aspects of the opportunity include: • Maintenance and repair of aircraft, including minor and major modifications • Logistics and supply chain support, including strategies for managing parts availability and supply chain risk • Performance metrics, including aircraft availability, turnaround time, and cost performance • Contract type, including fixed-price, cost-plus, and time-and-materials contracts • Small business participation, including potential set-asides for small businesses The CBP is seeking responses to this RFI by June 29, 2026, and is encouraging interested parties to provide feedback on the proposed contract structure and contract type(s).
