RFSQ - AIRPLANE MAINTENANCE, ENGINEERING AND REPAIR SERVICES

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking qualified vendors to enter into master agreements for as-needed airplane maintenance, engineering, and repair services. The selected vendors will provide services to supplement the work being performed by the Department's staff, including routine repairs, maintenance, and phase inspections of aircraft. The vendors must have at least five years of experience in providing a full range of aircraft maintenance services and must operate a certificated repair station or approved maintenance organization. The services will be provided for the Department's existing fleet of aircraft, including Raytheon Super King Air B200, Cessna 210, and Cessna Turbo 210, as well as any future aircraft the Department may acquire. • The Department flies an aggregate total of approximately 1,200 airplane flight hours each year. • The vendors must have a business office located within the continental United States or Canada. • The vendors must maintain service records and receive service requests over the telephone. • The solicitation will remain open until the needs of the Department are met. • The initial due date for the statement of qualifications is April 4, 2017, but submissions received after this date may still be reviewed at a later date.
