The State of California Department of Parks and Recreation seeks a qualified laboratory to perform comprehensive water quality testing for public use water systems located in state parks throughout western Sonoma County. The contractor must collect samples from park staff, deliver them to a lab within a one‑hour drive of Duncans Mills, conduct both bacteriological and chemical analyses using Standard Methods, and provide timely reports to both the State Water Resources Control Board and DPR. All testing must be performed by an ELAP‑certified laboratory and comply with federal and state regulations.
• Perform bacteriological (Coliform/E‑coli) presence/absence testing (~121 tests/year) and a suite of chemical tests (fluoride, nitrate, nitrite, arsenic, manganese, 1,2,3‑TCP, lead, copper, TTHM, HAA5, etc.).
• Deliver results electronically and in hard copy monthly (by the 10th of each month) and notify DPR within 24 hours of any out‑of‑specification result.
• Provide sample bottles, labels, and handle any non‑public water system samples on a reimbursable basis; invoice monthly with unit rates per Exhibit B.
