Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive Wastewater Effluent Laboratory Analysis Services for the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, MI. The contractor must handle all aspects of sample collection, preservation, transportation, laboratory testing (including PCB and mercury analyses), and timely reporting, while offering consultative support and meeting stringent federal compliance standards. This is a small‑business set‑aside (HUBZone/SDVOSB/WOSB) RFQ with a one‑year base period and up to four one‑year options.
• Collect and manage wastewater effluent samples per regulatory frequencies, maintain chain‑of‑custody, and transport to an accredited lab.
• Perform laboratory analyses in accordance with 40 CFR Part 136, including PCB (Method 608) and mercury (Method 245.1) testing, and generate detailed analytical reports within 7 business days.
• Provide customer‑service and consultative support during normal business hours, and comply with DEI, security, and subcontracting limits outlined in the solicitation.
