Description
The Gwinnett County Government is soliciting informal written quotations for the purchase of Night Vision Goggles. The quotation should include the price for 8 units of Night Vision Goggles, specifically the Katana-M (Molded) model, and 8 units of Wilcox G24 NVG Mount (Dovetail). The successful supplier will be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance and complete an On-Site Service Plan. The plan includes a 3-year span with one annual on-site visit for field evaluation and training.
• The field evaluation includes functions check, collimation verification, Hoffman testing procedures, QC inspection, optics cleaning, and nitrogen purge.
• The training includes helmet & accessory setup, laser mounting/operation, intro to NVG use, storage, protection, and standard field maintenance.
The County requires the supplier to provide evidence of insurance, including Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers' Compensation. The supplier must also comply with the Illegal Immigration Reform Enhancements for 2013 and provide a Contractor Affidavit and Agreement.
