RFP Borough Auditor - 2021 - Update

The Borough of Atlantic Highlands is seeking a qualified registered municipal accountant (or firm) to serve as the Borough Auditor for the 2021 calendar year, performing the statutory audit of FY 2020 for multiple municipal funds and utilities, as well as the Municipal Court accounts, and providing any additional audit or financial services requested during the appointment. The award will be based on experience, reputation, and compliance with statutory and ethical requirements; the fee schedule is proposal‑based and not disclosed. • Conduct statutory audit of FY 2020 for Current, Trust, Capital, Harbor Utility, Water & Sewer Utility, LOSAP, and related accounts. • Audit Municipal Court accounts and records for 2020. • Provide ongoing audit, accounting, or financial services as directed by the Governing Body during the 2021 appointment. • Submit a fee schedule for extra services and meet extensive insurance, certification, and disclosure requirements (workers’ comp, general & professional liability, business registration, ownership disclosure, pay‑to‑play, etc.). • Proposals must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. on Dec 8, 2020 in hard‑copy (sealed) and emailed to the Borough Administrator and Clerk.
