Morgan County is seeking a qualified contractor to replace an obsolete hydraulic elevator and install a new fire‑alarm system in its historic three‑story County Administration Building. The work includes full removal of existing equipment, supply and installation of a modern elevator system with accessibility features, design and installation of a code‑compliant fire‑alarm system limited to the elevator, all required permits, inspections, and final certification. The project must be completed while the building remains occupied, requiring careful phasing, protection of occupants, and adherence to noise, dust, and vibration controls. The contractor must provide detailed submittals, warranties, training, and an O&M manual.
