Description
The Department of the Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide a brand-name-only Cummins Model C220D5EQ Portable Diesel Generator System. The system will provide emergency backup power to the critical walk-in cold storage units at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing, installing, and ensuring the proper function of the generator and all associated components. The required completion date for this project will be 180 calendar days after contract award.
Key components of the system include:
• A 400A Manual Transfer Switch
• A 400A Safety Disconnect Main Breaker
• An Emergency Enclosure Panel Board
• All necessary power cabling and connectors
• A generator grounding system
• A generator trailer
The Government intends to solicit and award a single, firm-fixed-price contract using the procedures outlined in RFO Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
