Timing/Event Generator and Receiver

The Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a Timing/Event Generator and a Timing/Event Receiver with specific technical specifications. The laboratory is requesting quotations from interested vendors, and the quotations must be received by January 7th, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. The laboratory is looking for a Timing/Event Generator with 2 RF inputs up to the 2 GHz range, 8 timing links out to distribute timing, 4 or 8 nsec events, under 15 psec jitter, 8 sequence buffers to preload timing sequences, and 8 digital inputs for hardware triggered events. The laboratory is also looking for a Timing/Event Receiver with 16 ttl signals with 1-8 nsec trigger resolution, 8 timing links out to distribute timing. Some key points to consider are: • The quotation must include a completed and signed ANL-70 Request for Quotation and ANL-70B Representations and Certifications. • The quotation must include a price justification, country of origin, and best achievable lead time. • The laboratory reserves the right to accept or reject quotations on each item separately. • The laboratory reserves the right to accept minor deviations from specifications. • Firm prices are requested, and if other than firm prices are quoted, conditions of escalation must be stated.
