Description

Description of goods to services to be bid: Summary of Revisons Updates to RFP 6041 – August 10, 2026• The Due Date for Round 2 has been extended from August 20, 2026 to January 7, 2027. The currently anticipated start date for Round 3 has been pushed to January 7, 2027. Additional changes to the solicitation for Round 2 are forthcoming. Updates to RFP 6041 – March 24, 2026 The Due Date for Round 1 has been extended from March 26, 2026 to April 2, 2026. The currently anticipated start date for Round 2 has been pushed to April 2, 2026. Summary of Revisions: As noted to occur following release of RFP 6041, Appendix B – Standard Form Port Infrastructure Grant Disbursement Agreement (Funding Agreement) has been updated to include Exhibit E (Form of Progress Report), Exhibit G (Standard Form State Voucher), and Exhibit H (Standard Form Claim Certification) as of 2/4/2026. NYSERDA seeks to competitively select and fund proposals through Request for Proposals (RFP) 6041 supporting maritime port development and improvement projects at existing New York State ports. The program will invest in New York State's existing ports to increase the capability for New York to support the offshore wind industry while also having multi-use purposes. Investing in ports capable of multi-purpose commercial activities ensures resiliency to demand fluctuations from any one market and subsequently supports job retention and job growth for New Yorkers. RFP 6041 is designed to be broad, and seeks, for example, bids for projects ranging from large scale port upgrades to support product manufacturing, to smaller port upgrades that allow for activities like onshore logistics or vessel repair. A project's intended use(s) in the offshore wind industry may initially be delayed, so proposed projects should demonstrate other potential commercial uses to ensure near- and long-term viability. The RFP may have multiple rounds for proposal submission. If changes are made to this solicitation notification will be posted on NYSERDA’s website at:www.nyserda.ny.gov/funding-opportunities Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences: NA Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) SDVOB Goal: 0.00% Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 0.00% WBE Goal: 0.00% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise contracting goals (DBE) DBE Goal: 0.00%
