Downtown Infrastructure Improvements Project

The City of Keene is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Downtown Infrastructure Improvements and Reconstruction Project. The project includes three phases of construction over three years and involves various improvements such as drain system improvements, water system improvements, sewer system improvements, concrete sidewalks, raised stamped concrete intersections, granite curb installation, electrical panel enclosure, temporary lighting, replacement lighting, and landscaping. The project aims to improve the downtown infrastructure and requires the contractor to perform the work in accordance with the contract documents and applicable codes. • The project includes the removal and replacement of existing private water service connections. • The contractor shall coordinate with property owners and the City to maintain service to properties throughout the replacement of services. • The contractor shall restore disturbed areas in-kind and conform to applicable specifications or contract requirements. • The project requires the contractor to furnish and install all components required to properly replace existing private water services. • The work shall meet all applicable plumbing and building codes.
