Description
The City of Omaha is soliciting qualified contractors to construct a 1,970‑ft, 72‑inch inside‑diameter combined sewer gravity conduit (micro‑tunneling and hand‑mined) and associated launch and receiving shafts for the Northeast Omaha High‑Rate Treatment Basin (Package 1). The work includes underground excavation, shaft construction, installation of reinforced concrete jack pipe, de‑watering, ground support, and extensive geotechnical monitoring. Bidders must submit an Economic Sustainability Plan, bid bond (or acceptable substitute), and comply with Small & Emerging Small Business (SEB) requirements. A pre‑bid conference is scheduled for 8 Aug 2026 (attendance optional) with a site tour thereafter. The bid window opens 29 Jul 2026 and closes 2 Sep 2026. Successful contractor will receive a Notice to Proceed on 14 Oct 2026.
