Description

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) is requesting bids to establish a purchase order for the procurement of chemicals. The chemicals include Prosize TP with Penflex, a one-piece sizing product used in the slashing of cotton yarn. The vendor is required to quote F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid and allowed. The delivery may be a factor in the award, and the vendor should provide the best available delivery. The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. • The TDCJ is seeking a vendor to provide chemicals for its textile mill. • The chemicals must meet the specified requirements, including being new and unused, and of current production. • The vendor must comply with all rules, regulations, and statutes relating to purchasing in the State of Texas. • The vendor must provide a valid payee identification number on each invoice. • The TDCJ reserves the right to accept or reject any and all items at its sole discretion.

Budget estimate

$36,000 – $180,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or price range. However, based on the quantity of chemicals required (36,000 pounds), the budget could be substantial. Assuming an average price of $1-5 per pound for chemicals, the total budget could range from $36,000 to $180,000. This estimate is highly speculative and may not reflect the actual budget.
