Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors for the procurement of a compact/mini excavator for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The excavator must meet specific requirements, including an air-conditioned cab, hand controls, integrated display, digger bucket, and hydraulic operation. The contractor shall provide delivery of the excavator to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in North Little Rock, AR. The contract will likely involve the provision of technical manuals and data, as well as installation, operation, and maintenance instructions.
• The excavator must have a diesel engine with a minimum power of 40hp
• The excavator must have a dig depth minimum of 10 feet and a ground level reach minimum of 15 feet
• The excavator must have a dump clearance minimum of 10 feet and a ground clearance minimum of 12 inches
• The excavator must have a boom swing minimum of 90 degrees and a bucket minimum of 4.5 cubic feet
• The contractor must provide full manufacturer's data, literature, and installation, operation, and maintenance instructions with the technical quote
• The contractor must communicate with the Contracting Officer on all matters pertaining to contract administration
