Description
The County of Los Angeles Fire Department is seeking qualified roofing contractors to replace the existing Built‑Up Roofing (BUR) system on Fire Station 090 with a new 60‑mil mechanically‑fastened TPO single‑ply roof. The scope includes demolition of approximately 4,000 sq ft of BUR, inspection and repair of roof sheathing, installation of DensDeck® roof boards (or equal), full TPO roofing system, associated flashings, edge metal, ladders for roof access, and required permits and waste disposal. Work must be performed during normal business hours, comply with California Building Code, Cal/OSHA, and prevailing‑wage rules, and be completed within 3‑4 weeks. A mandatory pre‑bid job walk on 28 Sept 2026 is required for all bidders.
• Replace ~4,000 sq ft BUR with 60‑mil TPO roofing system
• Provide DensDeck® roof boards, flashings, edge metal, ladders, and accessories
• Remove and dispose of all demolition debris per regulations
• Maintain a 30‑year NDL material warranty and 5‑year workmanship warranty
• Must hold a California C‑39 Roofing or B‑General Building Contractor license
• Project duration: 3‑4 weeks, normal business hours (Mon‑Fri, 8 am‑5 pm)
