Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure a SM-1.0-8200 Benchtop Environmental Chamber from Thermotron Industries on a sole-source basis. The chamber has specific dimensions, utilities, and performance requirements, including temperature and humidity control. The delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of the order. Interested parties may submit their capability statements, which should include their experience, equipment, background, and ability to provide the required instrument without compromising quality, reliability, safety, accuracy, and schedule.
• The SM-1.0-8200 has a temperature range of -40°F to +266°F and a humidity range of 20% RH to 95% RH.
• The chamber has a cooling performance of 11 minutes to reach 14°F from 77°F and a heating performance of 6 minutes to reach 150°F from 77°F.
• The standard features include a heliarc welded stainless steel chamber liner, left-hand hinged door, and convenient one-handed latch.
• The refrigeration system includes a hermetically sealed compressor and an air-cooled condenser.
• The electrical system includes a main power drop, electrical compartment, and solid-state control relays.
