Narrows Powerplant Exciters

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District (USACE-MVK) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Basler Electric Company, LLC for the supply and installation of Basler DECS-2100 Front-end Retrofit Kits for Main Generator Units 1-3 of the Narrows Powerplant. The contract includes the provision of spare parts, site visit to retrieve existing settings, installation support, commissioning, and PSS tuning. The contractor will also provide training and technical support. The key requirements of the contract include: • Providing Basler DECS-2100 Front-end Retrofit Kits for Main Generator Units 1-3 • Providing spare parts and technical support • Performing site visits to retrieve existing settings and install the new equipment • Providing commissioning and PSS tuning services • Providing training and technical support to the government personnel
