Outside Counsel

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a law firm to provide outside legal counsel services for a complex real estate transaction involving the sublease and assignment of lease documents and related building code compliance and zoning issues. The selected consultant will be chosen based on factors such as the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff, and proposed fee. The project aims to comply with all federal, state, and City laws and regulations, and certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) are strongly encouraged to apply. • The RFP is available for download as of February 20, 2026 • Responses are due no later than 4:00 P.M. on March 9, 2026 • The proposal should be uploaded electronically as a .zip file with the company name and the title of the RFP • Detailed submission guidelines and requirements are outlined in the RFP
