Request for Proposals (RFP) for Print and Mail Services for Tax Statements and Notices

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Washington County to secure the services of a qualified Contractor to provide printing, folding, mailing, and electronic distribution of Valuation Notices, Tax Statements, and Truth in Taxation Notices. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary to produce and distribute the required notices and statements. The County is seeking a five-year contract. • The Contractor shall provide an all-inclusive printing and mailing system with minimum capabilities/features. • The Contractor shall receive electronic files from the County, print the notices/statements, fold and stuff them into envelopes, and mail them to the appropriate taxpayer address. • The Contractor shall also provide a comprehensive automated printing system compatible with existing County-owned computer equipment and software. • The County offers a full range of services, including property tax administration, law enforcement, and corrections, and employs approximately 1,400 employees.
