Description
The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Construction & Maintenance Division is seeking a contractor to replace the roofs of multiple park buildings in the North area. The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing roofing system and the installation of a new modified bitumen roof system or a metal standing seam roof system. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the project. The project must comply with Resolution No. R-54-18 Cool Roofs and the new 2024 building codes. The contractor must also provide a 30-year manufacturer's warranty for the roofing system.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• The removal and disposal of the existing roofing system
• The installation of a new modified bitumen roof system or a metal standing seam roof system
• Compliance with Resolution No. R-54-18 Cool Roofs and the new 2024 building codes
• Provision of a 30-year manufacturer's warranty for the roofing system
• Installation of Type G or K hanging gutters and downspouts
• Repair or replacement of damaged areas, including sod, concrete, asphalt, stucco, masonry, and paint
• Maintenance of a clean site during and after construction
• Proper disposal of all debris generated during the project
