Precast Concrete Drainage Units and Manholes

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks qualified manufacturers or authorized dealers to supply and deliver precast concrete drainage units and precast concrete manholes for highway improvement projects in Ontario County, New York. Bids must be submitted in hard‑copy form by 11:00 a.m. on October 21, 2026. The contract term is one calendar year (01/01/2027 – 12/31/2027) with the possibility of two one‑year renewals. All units must comply with NYSDOT specifications, be delivered within 14 days of order, and the lowest responsive/responsible bidder will be awarded a lump‑sum contract. • Scope: Manufacture and supply precast concrete drainage units (rectangular or round) and precast concrete manholes with required accessories (gaskets, joint lubricants, steps, lifting holes, damp‑proofing). • Technical requirements: NYSDOT §§704‑03, 706‑04; ASTM C478, C443; HS‑20 highway loading; bar reinforcement Grade 60, etc. • Delivery: To Ontario County’s point of delivery, within 14 days of order, Tuesday‑Thursday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. • Bid package: Completed Bid Form, Bid Schedule, acknowledgments, non‑collusion affidavit, sexual‑harassment statement, insurance certificates (if required), product literature, IRS W‑9. • Evaluation: Lowest total price for eligible base line items; “or equal” items allowed with documentation. • Payment: Within 30 calendar days of invoice receipt (or equipment acceptance). • Renewal: Up to two additional 12‑month periods at County’s discretion.
