Budget estimate

$300,000 – $800,000

The solicitation does not disclose a fixed contract amount. Based on the cost proposal template (average hourly rate multiplied by total hours) and a contract duration of roughly 20 months, a typical consulting rate for specialized historic‑preservation work ranges from $120‑$200 per hour. Assuming a full‑time effort (~160 hours/month) the total labor cost would be between $384,000 and $640,000. Adding travel, lodging, and administrative expenses (estimated 10‑15 % of labor) brings the overall contract value to roughly $420,000‑$740,000. Therefore a reasonable budget estimate is $300,000 on the low end (part‑time effort) to $800,000 on the high end (full‑time effort with extensive travel).
