USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47) 15 TON BRIDGE CRANE STOWAGE JACK ASSEMBLY; REPLACE PORT SIDE CRANE RAIL AND LONG TRAVEL ROLLER CHAIN FOR 15 TON BRI DGE CRANE; REPLACE

The US Navy is seeking a contractor to replace the 15-ton bridge crane stowage jack assembly, port side crane rail, and long travel roller chain for the 15-ton bridge crane on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD-47). The work will be performed at the Commander, Fleet Activities Sasebo (CFAS) in Japan. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Yokosuka Site SASEBO will issue a competitive solicitation to Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) and capable Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) holders in Japan. • The replacement work includes the 15-ton bridge crane stowage jack assembly, port side crane rail, and long travel roller chain. • The work will be performed in Japan, and contractors must meet the necessary criteria and provide documentation to demonstrate their authorization to perform this work in Japan. • The performance period is expected to be from 10/12/2026 to 07/31/2026.
