Elliott Hall Renovation

The Sam Houston State University is seeking a general contractor for the renovation of Elliott Hall. The project includes selective interior renovations and building system upgrades to improve functionality, accessibility, and building performance while maintaining the existing building footprint and exterior envelope. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, equipment, labor, and coordination required to complete the scope of work. • The project is expected to start on May 18, 2026, and be substantially completed by June 9, 2027. • The contractor will be required to execute a general contractor agreement and provide payment and performance bonds. • The contractor will be responsible for verifying all field measurements and locating all existing utilities prior to commencement of construction. • The contractor will be required to submit a historically underutilized businesses subcontracting plan. • The contractor will be required to comply with all federal and state policies and laws prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct.
