Two Way Radios

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide a turn-key two-way handheld radio solution at the James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The contractor will be required to supply and install 40 handheld radios, along with supporting equipment, including backbone equipment, chargers, batteries, and antennas. The radios must meet specific requirements, including frequency range, channel capacity, battery life, and operating temperature. The contractor will also be required to provide installation, training, and a 5-year service plan. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, and the contractor must provide a written certification from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorizing them to provide and install the products and software. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, labor, and materials to complete the installation • The contractor must test the system to ensure proper coverage in all areas of the facility • The contractor must provide system documentation, including troubleshooting guides, technical specs, and manuals • The contractor must provide a 5-year warranty on all components • The contractor must provide a 5-year service plan, including technical support, updates, and repair service
