IFB 260017311 - Forest Hill Ave Sewer Replacement (Phase III)

The City of Richmond is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Forest Hill Sewer replacement project. The project will entail installing associated sewer pipes and manholes, inspecting and replacing service laterals as necessary, and rehabilitating existing manholes where warranted. The project is located in the City of Richmond, along Old Westham Road, Hathway Road, and Forest Hill Avenue. The contractor will be required to provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary for the performance and completion of the work. • The project includes the installation of traffic control measures, erosion and sediment control measures, and a sewer bypass pumping system. • The contractor will be required to inspect and replace service laterals as directed and perform cleanup and site restoration. • The project also includes the furnishing of all labor, material, superintendence, power, lighting, heating, fueling, water, tools, equipment, supplies, and associated appurtenances required for the performance and completion of the work. • The contractor will be required to obtain all necessary permits and licenses required by federal, state, and local regulations. • The City of Richmond has a commitment to the development of its minority and emerging small business communities and encourages the use of minority and emerging small businesses on all City contracts to the fullest extent reasonably possible.
