Request for Quotes – Annual Pricing for Provision and Delivery of FLBC

The Dorchester County Water & Sewer department is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors to provide FLBC (likely a construction material) on an as-needed basis. The intent of this Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to establish one-year pricing for FLBC to support routine maintenance, repairs, and construction-related activities for County departments. Deliveries will be ordered intermittently during the contract term, and quantities and delivery locations may vary depending on operational needs. Key aspects of the job include: • The vendor must provide FLBC that is clean, suitable for its intended construction and maintenance applications, and free of debris or trash, organic matter or excessive fines, construction or demolition waste, and other unsuitable or contaminated materials. • Quotes shall be submitted on a per-ton basis, before sales tax, and pricing shall include material and delivery to various locations within Dorchester County. • The vendor shall be capable of delivering ordered quantities within two business days of receipt of an order, unless otherwise approved by the County. • The contract term will be from January 30, 2026, through January 29, 2027.
