Billy Bowlegs Community Building and Basketball Court Construction

The City of Fort Myers is seeking qualified contractors for the construction of the new Billy Bowlegs community building and adjacent basketball court. The proposed pre-manufactured structure consists of an 8,800 square foot building housing multi-purpose rooms, restrooms, storage, office space, and a concession area. Utilities, lighting, sidewalks, landscape and irrigation are also included. The project requires the demolition of the old building and the construction of a new CMU walls in combination with a pre-manufactured building. The contractor must provide clear and specific documentation to verify that all mandatory minimum qualifications have been met. • The contractor shall hold any necessary license(s) authorizing them to do business in the State of Florida. • The contractor shall have been in business under the current company/firm name for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years prior to the date of submission. • Neither the contractor nor any principal, officer, or stockholder shall be in arrears or in default of any debt or contract involving the City. • The contractor shall inform the City of any relevant legal or ethical issues.
