ITB No. 25-2909-12JL - Liesfeld Farm Drive Extension

The Henrico County Government is seeking bids for the Liesfeld Farm Drive Extension project. The work consists of approximately 800 linear feet of Liesfeld Farm Drive roadway extension, 500 linear feet of “Road B” roadway extension, a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Liesfeld Farm Drive and “Road B”, turn lane and signal improvements at the intersection of Liesfeld Farm Drive and N. Gayton Road. The project also includes a shared use path on the north side of Liesfeld farm Drive, a sidewalk on the south side of Liesfeld Farm Drive, and the construction of ADA compliant ramps. Additionally, the project involves water main installation, new storm sewer, and stormwater management facilities. The worksite address is near 12325 Kain Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059. • The project requires coordination with a separate contractor at the adjacent Avenlea Development at 12600 Bacova Drive. • The project is subject to USACE Permit Special Conditions, which may restrict tree cutting from May 15th to July 31st if the tricolored bat becomes listed on the Endangered Species List. • The project includes the construction of a single lane roundabout and turn lane and signal improvements. • The project involves the installation of water main, storm sewer, and stormwater management facilities.
